I took this at a stoplight at the intersection between Joyce St. and Columbia Pike in Arlington right before a thunderstorm. Normally, I like the feeling and excitement before a summer storm, but because it has been raining so much, I'd take sunshine any day.

This was taken in front of a garden shop in Del Ray. I am so excited to move back to my home in Virginia Beach in a couple of weeks. I have all sorts of ideas of how I want to make it my own. This shop inspired me. (I especially love the chubby Old World Robin!)

Saturday was such a beautiful day to spend out in Purcellville, VA at the Sunset Hills winery.

First birthdays are always a joyous occassion. Friends and family gathered to celebrate my nephew turning one :)

One of my favorite things about living in DC is being surrounded by so many great museums and memorials. The following photos (I couldn't pick just one) are of the Washington Monument and the World War II Memorial. They're exquisite to see at night.
