May 24th, 2010

Because Tara isn't going to be around for my birthday this year, she decided to give me my birthday gift early! She made me this adorable birdhouse! I just loooove how she incorporates my love for coffee shops, and the fact that I would love to own one one day -- "Mel's honeybee cafe"; the meaning of my name "Melissa = honeybee"; and of course, my love for birds! I can't thank you enough, Tara! :)

Here are both Tara and me celebrating with Cherrie at her graduation party. Congrats to all W&M grads of 2010! I officially no longer know anyone at William and Mary... I feel old!

May 22nd, 2010

Saturday was a busy, yet fun-filled day! While running errands/shopping, I ran into April at the mall... we were both wearing nearly identical outfits that I just had to take a picture, haha! It was quite embarrassing! Great minds think alike ;)

Later that evening, we all headed out to celebrate the mixtape release of our friend Scott, or Scottie P (on the beat)! :) The night was a big success, and we're all so proud of him!!!
Check him out here!

By the way, I just looooooooooved my dress that night! :) Don't be surprised if you see it on another photo-a-day! Haha!

Thursday night was taco night! And for dessert... fried ice cream! Natalie's recipe was simply A-MAZ-ING!!! I love getting together with these girls... we share stories and laugh like there's no tomorrow. :)

May 15th, 2010

We celebrated Jeremy's 24th birthday at Beerfest in Town Point Park in Norfolk. Best idea ever!!! It was such a gorgeous day to be outside! I had sooooo much fun! They should have beerfest every weekend of summer :)

Happy birthday, Jeremy! I know you had a blast! ;)

May 14th, 2010

This marked the beginning of a weekend of fun for Jeremy's birthday! ;)

Celebrating at Kokoamos!

May 13th, 2010

On this afternoon, Tara, Bobby, and I had ice cream at Doumar's. I tried to capture a photo of Mr. Doumar himself who was showing how the original cone machine works (which is still in use!) in an interview. He is the cutest, littlest old man!

I enjoyed a lovely evening with Sarah and Eirene in DC! I've missed them!
The last two photos are in Co Co Sala... it was chocolate heaven! A little too sweet for my taste, but a treat nonetheless! :)

May 6th, 2010

Because I had some time off from school (one week, ehh?), I decided to get away from home and pay a visit to my old home, Arlington. I made it just in time for Eirene's birthday dinner! We went to Bon Chon in Annandale (they specialize in Korean Fried Chicken... it was heaven! Very similar to my recipe... teehee!) ... Followed by bing soo for dessert! :) I was so exhausted after dinner (as you can see above), but it felt real nice to indulge and be in the company of good friends!

Happy birthday, Eirene! So glad I got to celebrate with you!

May 1st, 2010

This ended up being an exhausting day, but a good one... I definitely took advantage of the wonderful weather! Jerm, April and I ventured off to Granby St. in the evening where it was the opening night of Art Everywhere. Definitely check it out if you have not had a chance to! You might even get to take free photobooth pictures too :)

Happy 30th Birthday, Ate!!!
She was 30 weeks pregnant on her 30th birthday, how cute!
I hope it was a good birthday... we'll continue to celebrate when you're here at the end of the month!

April 28th, 2010

Tara, months back you were wondering what my photo(s) would be for April 28th... and well, they're all of your birthday celebration!!! ;)

Tara decided to have an animal-themed birthday dinner (she's so young at heart! I love it!), and it was just a lot of fun! Tara was a sheep (Tara is to sheep what I am to birds) and I was supposed to be a bird, but I ended up looking more like a Native American, haha! I had a blast Tara! I hope you enjoyed all your birthday celebrations!!! :)

April 24th, 2010

Even on cloudy days, I still love the beach...

I participated in another Bar Crawl, but this time it was at the Oceanfront! More good times with friends!

I just love this picture of Heather, Marsha, and me! We're seagulls :)

April 17th, 2010

The day began with April and I attending little Abbey's First Communion...

... and it ended with everyone playing a game of L-C-R... greatest game ever!
This night was so much fun! I honestly can't remember the last time I laughed so hard!

[Best picture of Jeremy and April, haha!]

This ended up to be a very fun night which started off with a late dinner at Gordon Biersch!

April 13th, 2010

At Buffalo Wild Wings for their Tuesday Night special! Yummmm!

April 9th, 2010

I apologize for the unintended hiatus! April ended up being a pretty crazy month, but I certainly have no complaints. I'm just glad to have a week off from school because now I feel I can catch up on all the things I didn't have time to do in the past, like update this blog! I guess these three weeks worth of photos will show you just what I've been up to!

Pizza and wine night! This was post-zumba and Natalie and I were super excited about our Domino's Pizza (happy, Jose?!) Their new recipe, by the way, is deeelish! ;)

Speaking of birthdays... it's two months 'til my 25th birthday!!! :)
AND the one year anniversary of Life is Tweet ;)

Happy 25th Birthday, April!!!
It was a blast!!! :)

March 21st, 2010

Sunday was equally jammed-packed running all around VB, I just didn't have a chance to take that many photos...

For lunch, Brian, Natalie, Ashley and I picked up some Wing King and brought it over to Genelle's house. It was so great to finally see her (she's another middle school friend, although technically we didn't meet 'til the 11th grade) and her two-week old baby, Joey! He's absolutely adorable! I'm so happy for them!

After stuffing our faces with hot (and golden) wings, and other fried yumminess at Genelle's... we decided to head to Melt and eat crepes and gelato! (I almost can't believe that I didn't take any photos of food... that's probably a good thing; we were pretty gluttonous!) But anyway, we found it rather funny that we all have aviators, so of course we had to take a picture!
